Family Nights is an event held monthly for the Gruening Park residents to emphasize and create fun memories with family members, whether it is making crafts, eating a festive dinner, or an Easter Egg Hunt. This service project is a great way to serve the residents and show God’s love for them by creating special nights of fun and family. The project is funded by Common Ground and volunteered by Common Ground members. Learn more about it here.
Project 1-2-1 is our college summer ministry. Students will participate in the Summer Lunch program, form relationships with the kids and families of Gruening Park, be involved in Common Ground, and show God’s love to others. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve others, make a difference in kids’ lives, and become involved in an active small church in Juneau, Alaska. Learn more about it here.
Summer Lunch is a service project where we serve Gruening Park’s kids lunch during the entire summer, Monday through Friday, until school starts. The program is entirely funded by Common Ground, and other local churches participate with volunteers to make this project a success. This project meets a valuable need for the Gruening Park community. Learn more about it here.
